Private tuition is available for students of any level. The content of this course is totally tailored to the level, interests and needs of the student.

- 1 student: $50/hour per person
- 2 students: $30/hour per person
- 3-6 students: $20/hour per person
- Larger groups: negotiable

Lessons arranged and paid 
for in 3 week blocks.
Payment due within 2 weeks
after confirmation.

Spanish Exam Preparation

private tuitionPreparation for official Spanish examinations is available at the Nelson Spanish Centre. Get a Spanish tutor in Nelson for any of the following exams:

  • New Zealand examinations NCEA
  • International examinations: IB (International Baccalaureate) and iGCSE (international GCSE)
  • United Kingdom examinations: GCSE and A Level (A1 and A2 courses)
  • International “Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE)

Whether you need a Spanish tutor to help with your classwork/homework or you need some extra practice for the writing, speaking, listening or reading sections of the exams, we can help!

Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE)

Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are official titles certifying degree of competence and mastery of the Spanish language, granted by the Ministry of Education of Spain, and valid throughout the word.

The exams take place in November (registration deadline is September). The exams must be taken in Auckland (currently where the only accredited examination centre in New Zealand is).

There are 6 levels:
– A1 and A2 (beginners)
– B1 and B2 (intermediate)
– C1 and C2 (advanced)
